Graphite
In the multifaceted tapestry of contemporary existence, I explore the enduring presence of the cowboy archetype, dissecting the interplay between mythos and reality. These graphite inquiries delve into the socio-cultural fabric, revealing the latent echoes of the cowboy ethos that persist in the 21st century. By channeling the iconography of cowboys as psychosocial signifiers, my work becomes a choreography of memory fragments, inviting the viewer to traverse the non-linear landscapes of consciousness. The cowboy, a mythic vessel, becomes a cipher for the liminality of human experience, transgressing the boundaries of the mundane to unveil the enigmatic, the inexplicable, and the sublime. In this artistic odyssey, I beckon the beholder to commune with the spectral echoes of recollection and partake in the transcendental reverie of the human psyche.
